You can access higher education as a visiting learner with Try a Course! Explore a degree, advance your current skills, pursue an area of personal interest, or learn something new. Try a Course benefits working professionals, learners pursuing Credentials to Degree, students enrolled at other institutions, high schoolers seeking pre-college coursework, and lifelong learners alike.

STEP 1: Find a Course 

Visit our Course Search to view all course offerings to find one you may be interested in. You can utilize the Show Open to Continuing Ed Only filter during active registration windows to show only sections with open seats and no restrictions for Continuing Education learners. 

REGISTRATION WINDOWS

  • Monday, March 24, 2025 - Summer 2025 Registration Begins
  • Wednesday, July 16, 2025 - Fall 2025 Registration Begins
  • October (Date to be Determined) - January 2026 Registration Begins
  • December (Date to be Determined) - Spring 2026 Registration Begins

STEP 2: COMPLETE THE REQUEST FORM

Within the Course Search, open courses will display a Continuing Ed Registration Request button under the course description which you can use to register. Courses without the button will require permission from the instructor to register, as the course may be full or have restrictions.

Credentials to Degree


The path to academic success is unique for each learner. That’s why we offer the Credentials to Degree program, enabling continuing education students to earn credentials and credits toward a UNH degree. With no formal application process or deadlines, Credentials to Degree provides the flexibility of continuing education while allowing students to earn UNH microcredentials and college credits aligned with degree programs.
